The curator of this touring exhibition, Matilde Rodríguez, a cultural manager specializing in contemporary illustration, design and urban art, has selected the works of 12 leading national and international artists, such as Chilean Luisa Rivera, Spaniards Sonia Pulido, María Hesse, Helena Pérez García and Lara Lars, to highlight the role played by women in this illustration boom. 

The exhibition also seeks to highlight the freer, more creative and more personal work of the selected women illustrators, as well as exploring the different formats and techniques with which they work: serigraphs, collages, ceramics, risographs, digital drawings and sculptures. A sample of the high degree of creativity and experimentation in illustration today.
